- Summer Schools usually take place during the first exams period of our summer Semester. Be aware of colliding schedules.
- Those offers do not include travel costs, housing and personal expenses.
- After the confirmation for the tuition waiver, you will also need to register at the partner university.

Description: 21st INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL IN ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT -
Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Universidad de La Habana are glad to host the 21st edition of the International Summer School in Economics and Management in Havana. ISSEM 2024 offers you a wide selection of study courses in different areas of economics and business, such as: Cuban Economics, Labor Market, Development Economics, International Accounting, Design Thinking and
Entrepreneurship.
Courses are exclusively taught in English. Undergraduate and graduate students receive ECTS points for successfully completed courses. But the ISSEM experience goes beyond the classroom. We invite you to attend organized cultural events and activities, such as a Cuban movie night, concerts,
sport competitions and excursions. Students have the possibility to present recent research (i.e. BA/MA Thesis) during a special session of the International Conference in Economics and Management, which takes place during the two weeks.
Participants need to cover their own flight and accommodation. A modest fee for visa and social activities will be charged.

Description: The program is a 4-week intensive program focusing on Business, Innovation and Society in Asia, offering a suite of elective and enrichment courses designed to augment students' knowledge and practical skills about Asia in general, through the use of real-life case studies and examples. The usual cost for this program is 5.450 SGD (ca. 3.820 Euro) - if you get nominated by the Humboldt-Universität, you will get it for free (albeit 380 SGD as application and administrative fees will still be due). The SMU will assist in finding housing, please calculate costs of about 1800-2400 S$ (ca. 1260-1680 Euro) for housing.
The SMU is one of the most renowned universities and their summer schools are very popular among students around the world.
You may take 2 different courses from the modules ‘Asian Insights’, ‘Sustainable Futures’ and ‘Digital Intelligence’ in either Session 1 or Session 2.
