Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin - Economic Theory II (Macro)

Advanced Labor Economics

Students gain a command of central theoretical frameworks for thinking about how labor markets function and how they deviate from the standard competitive paradigm.

They are able to apply theory of labor economics and available empirical evidence to practical labor market contexts and understand the possibilities and limitations which can arise in the empirical verification of labour market theory using data.
