Short-Bio

Study of Mathematics, Logic and Greek Philology. Diploma in Mathematics from FU Berlin, 2000. IT-related work experience as System and Network Administrator. Full time qualification as Network Security Engineer (Siemens SBS) in 2002. Security Analyst at Symantec (24/7 SOC) in 2003-2004. Trainings as Intrusion Analyst in Alexandria, VA, and London. Certifications include GCIA (SANS Institute), SCNA (Sun), CCSE (Checkpoint), SCSE  (Symantec). Since start of 2005 work at the TAUCIS project (Technology Assessment of Ubiquitous Computing). Ph.D. in 2008, topic "Secure Name Services for the Internet of Things". Project Manager (HU) for Aletheia.
