Wolf-Fabian Hungerland receives Gerhard Fürst Prize 2019
Award of the Federal Statistical Office for outstanding dissertation
Wolf-Fabian Hungerland was awarded the Gerhard Fürst Prize of the Federal Statistical Office in 2019 for his dissertation on the topic "On Germany and International Trade in the First Globalisation". Wolf-Fabian Hungerland wrote his thesis under the supervision of Nikolaus Wolf at the Institute of Economic History at our School and received his doctorate in 2018. The Federal Statistical Office's Gerhard Fürst Prize for outstanding dissertations is endowed with 5,000 euros.
